Open Top Pancake with Body Shield - J111

Holster hugs my XDS firmly but the draw is smooth and effortless. Very comfortable. Workmanship is excellent.

When I carry I am very conscious that it should be concealed and that I don't tip off anyone, good guy or bad, that I am armed. I am changing all my holsters over to Jason's products, as and when I can afford to, as they help me keep a low armed profile and have good passive retention as well as being a great fit right out of the box. Can't rate them highly enough. The same goes for the IWB holsters as well

The J111 open top pancake holster with body shield that I now have received two of are both of very high quality in both materials and construction, as good as it gets in execution by the craftsman of a great design using top quality materials. I will be ordering other models as I add to my handgun collection.

Unknown to Mr Winnie, I'm one of the principals behind "Ballistics by the Inch", as well as a former writer/reviewer for Guns.com and other such sites/publications. So I've had a *lot* of opportunity to view and review holsters. His holsters were well-regarded on the Boberg Forum, so I ordered one for my XR9-Shorty.
Finding a well-made holster for a very common handgun is fairly easy. Finding one for a small-market niche gun like the Boberg is another matter. Usually you just have to accept what is out there, and pay a premium for it to boot.
That wasn't the case with this holster. It was very well made, very reasonably priced, and fit the little Boberg *PERFECTLY*. Furthermore, when I placed my order I was given an estimate of 3 - 5 weeks for delivery. That seemed ... optimistic ... by the standards of most holster makers. I fully expected my order to take 2 - 3 months or longer. Instead, I got notice that my holster had shipped in less than two weeks from when I placed my order. Surprise!
I couldn't be happier. Seriously. Great product, great price, excellent service.
