Open Top Pancake - J101

After owning several difference types of holsters (DeSaints, Galo, etc.) for my larger pistol, I found the Open Top Pancake - J101 holster form Jason Winnie to be made of better leather (thicker) then the rest. The stitching and edges are equal and finished off well. Also the holster cover’s the muzzle of the pistol which helps protect it from damage when carried; the holster fits the pistol snuggly and requires no retention screw to hold the pistol in the holster. I would recommend Jason Winnie holsters as a top manufacture of custom made holsters at a very affordable price. I will be buying more holsters from Jason Winnie.

I have carried this holster for several years, it breaks in fast and hugs the body well. I have carried everything from a Kahr K9 to a full size 1911 concealed without printing or showing the holster.

It allows for a smooth draw and easy reholster.

Had not heard of Jason Winnie prior to buying this holster but very happy with my purchase. Bought this holster for my Remington R1 Enhanced 45 and it fits like a glove. Great looking and outstanding quality and workmanship. Will be buying additional holster from Jason.

I am not an inside the waistband holster kind of guy so when I found these I was hooked. I have 3 of these J101 holsters for 3 different guns. I wear one everyday and it holds the gun up close to me so it makes it real easy to conceal and extremely comfortable. They are the most comfortable holster I own. I recommend them to all my friends all the time.

I'm an avid shooter, 26, and have been searching for the right type of holster since I bought my first pistol 5 years ago.

I came across the open top pancake holster for the M&P 9mm full frame about a year ago but I never really put it to full use until I started shooting at an IDPA club. Not only is it extremely comfortable, I am always either getting compliments on it or asked who made it at our matches.

After getting my CCW just recently and trying many different holsters for my Shield, it finally occurred to me that I needed to go right back to the same product, so now I own two of these. The fit and the draw were both flawless right out of the bag. I've worn leather, plastic and kydex of every name and this is where I'll start and stop shopping from now on.
